Simplified administration of user accounts, roles, rights and licenses

3DEXPERIENCE lacks an end-to-end function for managing all user accounts, rights & roles and licenses. Administrators need in-depth knowledge to create users correctly and efficiently; Dassault Systèmes recommends creating users via a server-side import batch job. We offer an in-house add-on application with a direct connection to the 3DEXPERIENCE database for the simple, central management of user accounts, rights & roles and licenses – including assigned organisations, collaborative spaces and permissions.

User Management Tool

Simplified creation and efficient maintenance of your user accounts plus easy-to-use license management that detects additional license needs early. The tool becomes your “single source of truth” – central management with access to all relevant information. Extended access & project permissions

3DEXPERIENCE defines access rights via organisation, collaborative space (collab space) and role. These standard functions are fundamentally suitable, but implementing company-specific permissions is complex and administratively demanding (manual releases for read/write rights).

We implement a structured data organisation that enables an extended assignment of access rights: we implement customer-specific project permissions. A predefined project structure including permissions is created automatically, and rights are inherited directly by existing or newly created objects; individual permissions on objects can be extended automatically. This eliminates manual interactions and reduces administrative effort and the risk of unauthorised data access – customer-specific security requirements (e.g. collaboration with external partners) are taken into account.
