Data exchange

Our Data Exchange module provides an integrated interface for data exchange operations in 3DEXPERIENCE. Users assemble data packages, define transfer options, initiate exports or import data.

It provides the core functionality to initiate process-reliable exports and imports directly from the 3DEXPERIENCE interface, to track the respective jobs and to manage their history. Re-imports are matched to existing data and correctly merged into the data set. The solution is based on standard 3DEXPERIENCE methods with a familiar look and feel and is therefore intuitive to use with minimal training.

The Data Exchange module initiates export & import directly from 3DEXPERIENCE, matches re-imports and keeps the full history traceable.

Our Dynamic Data Suite is implemented as the basis for data processing and provides the functionality to process data exchange jobs in the background: data is prepared for transfer, converted into other formats if needed, and notification emails are sent to senders and recipients. The job results are reported back to the data exchange in 3DEXPERIENCE. A separate DX application is required for sending and receiving across company boundaries.
