Optimised development processes in 3DEXPERIENCE with workflow templates

Implementing and administering the 3DEXPERIENCE platform is demanding and extensive. Reducing complexity and effort is a frequent goal – for example for complex rights and roles concepts or company-specific workflows and mappable methods. valexcon offers in-house modules to extend the functionality as needed, integrated directly via existing APIs so that 3DEXPERIENCE can be used in processes with functions and methods that go beyond the standard scope. Development and maintenance are carried out in close coordination with Dassault Systèmes – the templates embody best practices drawn from many years of experience across different customers.

Release workflow

A workflow (“Change Action”) in 3DEXPERIENCE always maps an individual, customer-specific part of the development process. By default there are only individual “building blocks” that must be linked together individually during implementation. Our Release Workflow template provides interlinked base components for the flowchart, the selection of automatically pre-filled Change Actions depending on the action, the automatic assembly of all data beneath a root node for release, and the locking of data for further processing.
