Dynamic Data Suite – the valexcon data hub for processing around 3DEXPERIENCE

Throughout the product development process, data is created, changed and transferred in various workflows – for example during release. 3DEXPERIENCE offers individual building blocks for this, but these are often only generic, rudimentary solutions for mapping company-specific processes. With the Dynamic Data Suite, valexcon delivers modular solutions in 3DEXPERIENCE and CATIA that can be individually adapted to the customer environment – process-oriented, efficient and user-friendly.

Dynamic Data Suite

Data processing is triggered by transactions in 3DEXPERIENCE. These transactions generate individual jobs for various batch operations. All batch jobs are tracked and monitored in a web interface and can be re-run if needed; the results are reported back to 3DEXPERIENCE.

Why does the Dynamic Data Suite exist?

Because 3DEXPERIENCE and CATIA involve recurring data processing tasks every day that cost time and introduce errors when done manually. The platform’s standard building blocks are often only generic – the Dynamic Data Suite maps company-specific processes and automates them as batch jobs. That saves time and cost and increases process reliability.

Which tasks can be automated with the Dynamic Data Suite?

For example the generation of neutral formats, checkout, update and check-in of drawing title blocks, sending automated e-mails, analysing large data sets, and transferring data to and from third-party systems such as SAP.

How do we stay in control of the automated jobs?

All batch jobs are tracked and monitored in a web interface and can be restarted if needed. Results are reported back to 3DEXPERIENCE – every operation remains traceable.
