When introducing 3DEXPERIENCE, adapting the standard software to company-specific processes and methods plays a central role. Thanks to numerous successful projects, valexcon has built up extensive know-how and implements diverse customer requirements individually – for example workflow-specific import operations or the creation of bills of materials derived from 3DEXPERIENCE in other formats.

A key aspect of every transformation project is data migration from the legacy system – without loss of data or quality. For migration from any PLM system, valexcon uses its in-house “Migration Suite”, adapted individually to the requirements (e.g. the customer-specific data model) in every project. The process comprises four phases: data export, data preparation, data import and follow-up.

A widget is a self-contained, web-based application within the 3DEXPERIENCE dashboard. Widgets provide a user-friendly interface for various functions and enable interactive use of the platform without having to install additional software. Adapting or extending the interface requires sound know-how; valexcon seamlessly integrates new functions as well as adaptations of existing features. Key characteristics of widgets:

• Modularity – individually composable and organised in dashboards
• Interactivity – access to functions such as data analysis, project management or product design
• Adaptability – develop your own widgets or extend existing ones
• Data integration – communication with other systems and data sources

Process flows in 3DEXPERIENCE are mapped using Change Actions (release, change and data exchange processes). valexcon provides pre-configured templates, created specifically for your requirements, with which individual customer processes can be implemented quickly and efficiently.

The open architecture of 3DEXPERIENCE can be integrated seamlessly into a company’s existing IT infrastructure via the interfaces provided. valexcon has acquired extensive expertise in the 3DEXPERIENCE API and has successfully developed interfaces to a wide range of third-party systems – particularly the close integration of 3DEXPERIENCE and SAP.
